Our firm
A small firm that answers the phone.
Fifteen years in practice, a principal attorney who used to sit on the other side of these cases, and an office on Jackson Avenue where you are welcome to turn up.
What advocacy means here
Advocacy is support for a particular cause. The firm’s position, since it opened, is that your legal issue is the cause.
In practice that means specific, unglamorous things. Calls get returned. Emails get answered on the same day, including at the weekend, which is the detail clients mention most often in their reviews. Meetings are one to one with the attorney handling the matter. Nobody is rushed out of the room.
It also means explaining the process while it is happening. A client who understands what a Family Court judge is weighing, or what a refusal hearing is for, makes better decisions in the room. The firm treats that as part of the work rather than as a courtesy.
The firm is candid about fit, too. Its own advice, published on its website for years, is that if you meet an attorney and do not feel comfortable, you should keep looking until you find one you connect with. That applies here as much as anywhere.

The practice today
The firm has a principal attorney, three associate attorneys and two paralegals. Its core is family, matrimonial and real estate work, and its attorneys are general practitioners as well, which is why criminal defense, estate planning, civil matters and traffic tickets are all handled in the same building.
Matters are handled across Nassau County, Suffolk County, Queens, the five New York boroughs and the surrounding areas. Civil work has taken the firm into courts in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, the Bronx and Staten Island.
Consultations are free. Calls are answered around the clock. Major credit cards are accepted.
