Deep Chopra is Of Counsel to the firm, working on real estate law and on wills, trusts and estate planning within the outside-employment guidelines of his current employing agency. He handles personal and commercial real estate transactions, establishes trusts and drafts wills, with particular attention to Medicaid and estate planning.
He is licensed to practice in New York and before the High Courts of Mumbai and Goa, India.
He also serves as an officer with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where he manages national border security programs and acts as prosecutions liaison and expert witness for the Office of Chief Counsel. He has given expert testimony in terrorism and criminal trials, and in civil trials.
He has been recognized in back-to-back years in the solo attorney category as Top Provider of pro bono services, representing indigent clients in the Mortgage Foreclosure part of Nassau County District Court.
